I've almost unified all westeros after many hours, and now, waiting the white walkers i'm planning to invade essos. But I can only have 7 ships, wich is not enough to carry all my army of 670 men. Is there a way to have more?

And is there a special thing to do for the white walkers, because i know fire arrows can kill them, but i don't know how to prepare my infantry and cavalry. Can I make them equip special items? And happy new year of course! (Excuse my poor english, i'm french)Submitted December 31, 2017 at 09:51PM by LordCo0kie http://ift.tt/2ltNhas.

I may simply be an idiot but I can not figure out how to defend in sieges in this module. I play with around 100-120% difficulty depending on my mood and do just fine on the other mods I play. But on 1257 I just keep getting steam rolled over and over again in siege. I usually have a slight numbers disadvantage but I don't even get that far usually. It feels like the AI is only spawning 10-15 infantry on my side and then 60 archers. Although the archers are so spaced out that they get mowed down.

Even when I clump up the infantry in them smallest choke point they seem to get ran over and then the spawn point of reinforcements is terrible and they just get mowed down in turn.Submitted December 31, 2017 at 05:22PM by Mandalore93 http://ift.tt/2lr58Pg. Playing the Viking DLC sandbox I got the quest that says you need to grab jewelry for a lady. I was asked to bring 3 fucking pieces of it to Turid.

Obviously I'm already having doubts about it since she seems like high maintenance, but I might still go through with it. But where do I find jewelry? I've heard Friesland but that's a long fucking way when you don't have a ship. As the title mentions, I'm having issues with caravans getting stuck when traveling between ports. The issue is most obvious at Sunspear, as there are about 30 caravans that sail towards Essos (where I own every city) and then turn around for Sunspear before repeating the loop indefinitely. It's hard to tell, but I think it is happening with all caravans that are set to travel from port to port. Does anyone know the cause and/or fix?

I am the only lord in my kingdom, in case that is pertinent info. I am also playing version 3.0, but this issue has been encountered by someone else in a previous version Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.(EDIT) I should also mention that I am not at war with Sunspear, and there are no enemy parties of any kind between ports. Warband

As we know from the E3 demo, Bannerlord will move away from text-based speech to actually voice acted speech.Do we have any news on whether modders would be able to add custom voice acted dialogue (ala PoP's eargasmic voices)?I think this would really increase the difficulty of the creation of overhaul mods like AWOIAF and PoP. Because modders would need to find voice actors and shit to record tons of dialogue. Not to mention even if they find volunteer voice actors, it does not guarantee they each would have quality recording equipment. I was lastly playing kotor 2 and was thinking about making a mod for it; but I quickly realized that it would not be as great as I intended for two main reasons: I know the game perfectly and the player/modder base is almost dead.So I finally decided that, if I had enough time, I would gladly release a relevant warband mod on the Star Wars universe. But there was already something else in my mind concerning modding warband: a medieval fantasy world with in-depth factions and stories: everything I want is already written but I don't have time to work on it for the moment. The map is also ready. The specificity of my mod would come from the emphasis on story, quests and duels: that's why it may fit the star wars universe too.The combat system is already ready (including lightsaber forms, which are trainable in combat, and quests to get those); not considering force powers and blaster deflection, which will take a lot of time (I want to avoid shields in melee combat as much a. My understanding of right to rule is that the higher it is, the less likely other factions will attack you, the more likely other faction leaders will respect you, and the more likely vassals will switch allegiance to you. However despite having max right to rule, I've found myself at war with three other factions within a small frame of time. When I try to make peace they always refuse, when I try to send an emissary to any non-hostile faction they don't refer to me as king. It's starting to become a bit of a problem. I’ve been playing for about a week now and I’m still getting fucked up and it’s extremely frustrating. It seems like anytime I have a decent amount of people in my party I always get ganged up on by multiple bandits or sea raiders or multiple other lords parties and they kill all my people and take a bunch of my money and gear. I own like 3 properties and can win tournaments no problem but when it comes to the military aspect I can never win. It’s extremely frustrating having to start from scratch over and over again.

I’ve checked settings and they’re on the easiest difficulty. Any advice?Submitted December 24, 2017 at 01:27PM by redditleadtogold http://ift.tt/2l6g2ZG. The game is called. I didn't buy it expecting a Warband clone, but once I started playing the inspiration was pretty clear.

The game uses an overworld (over-galaxy?) map with instanced battles. Space stations take the place of towns and castles, which are supported by smaller stations that produce a specific resource. There are no hero characters, near as I can tell, but the role of other lords is taken by other spaceship captains. Not that it's exactly the same.

For example rather than building a 'warband' of spaceships you have one, which you can heavily customize. Sure, it has fighter hangers, but unless there's a capability I didn't get to in five hours of playing you can't ever have more than four of those.Utlimately, it's no replacement for Warband, but if you're looking for something that's a little different but might still scratch that itch it's both not bad and currently on sale on Steam.Submitted Dece. I had the idea forever ago to make this when the time was right (new release of PTI was the plan) but the right time never came around. Yesterday, I seem to have accidentally hijacked another thread and turned it into a Q&A about my mods, so I figure now's as good a time as any. Fun fact, I requested permission for this ahead of time and it was so bloody long ago that our good friend was actually not even a mod yet, so pls don't delete, should be able to confirm. The relevant mods, with a brief description and status overview: Every single troop in your army has a name and you can see where they came from, how long they've been with you, number of kills, etc.

An additional, optional feature is that your troops can automatically loot those enemies they kill/knock out, so if one of your recruits lands the final blow on a lord, you may see them decked out in expensive gear next battle. This is my first and favourite. The Goidels hold a special place in my heart as my favourite faction in Viking Conquest. They bring the image of the quirky and slightly less talented younger sibling of the Picts, in particular a younger sibling that takes inspiration from their elder while trying to form an identity of its own.

The result of this angsty imitation-slash-innovation is a faction that is distinct and unique, even while sharing much of the same equipment. Being similarly equipped to the Picts means that the Goidels also share strengths and weaknesses in armour and arms. Their shields are small, which when combined with the fact that they generally have poor leg armour, means that enemy fire that goes low will probably hit and do a lot of damage. Additionally, their elite units lack the very heavy armour that the Norse, Angle, and Saxon elites have. As for strengths, the Goidels have decent swords and the Picts have good axes, and while the shield may be smaller than others, it actually has more health. Steam should auto-update.

So much blood. There must have been a deluge of. I had finally built my knighthood order into a respectable force, all outfitted with Noldor weaponry and armor. I took a group of them out in order to gain renown for the glory of my knights, and encountered a massive army of peasants. I had never seen a peasant army before, and thought it would be fun to fight. So I attacked. As the battle began, it was only I and thirteen companions, and we rode about pelting the slow moving peasant horde with arrows.

Eventually we ran out, and charged in. As my companions fell, my knights slowly came in. Eventually it was I and my knights in a horde of vile beggars, slashing everything in reach. After a long battle, multiple horses, and many dead peasants, we stood victorious: 100 men having defeated 1000.

Here's what happened. I got into the hideout with my troops, killed a looter and then I got teleported to one of the looter spawn points. Here's where it gets weird. Looters became my allies while my Nord Footmen became my enemies. A few seconds later another clone of me spawned on the field (this one had a head) - I assume these clones are the looters which were supposed to spawn but didn't.

Since I had a crossbow equipped I killed my clones with it. You can see a part of the dead footman between my head and weapon and the other footmen are raising their weapons to attack me. Dont forget to add in the Nord invasion, and maybe even add in the Khergits. Maybe we can also have more enhanced castle building DLC.

I mean, to each their own but i found it surprising especially since i haven't encountered any of the issues most people seem to have encountered. I guess on harder difficulties it becomes much more of a challenge to get started, but when you do get started i really do feel the game is a blast.I find the mish-mash of Early Modern gunpowder weaponry with the wild cavalry charges and pikemen, halbrediers duking it out to be endlessly fun and exhlierating.I greatly enjoy the setting too, with it's many different cultures butting heads. The powerful Swedes, the Muscovites, on the crossroads between the East and the West, and the Cossacks, rebellious and independent, the Polish-Lithuanians, a power to rival Sweden, the last vestiges of Genghis Khan's glory in the form of the Crimean Khanate, the Turkic Tatar raiders running around Crimea and the scattered few Ottoman and Finnish soldiers. It's a really unique setting.Riding out, sabre in hand and a wheelock pistol firing in.

Fought a series of tournaments at a feast in Northumbria, and noticed something:Ubbe ('Hubbi Ragnarson' in VC) has amazing performance in tournaments, seemingly much better than the other lords. After I became curious I used a saved game to watch him fight several times, he beats other lords and often is even able to take multiple enemies at once. However, all AI lords have the exact same stats, skills, and WP, except for faction leaders, who are slightly higher, at least from what morgh's editor shows. So as far as I can tell the only difference between Ubbe and the other lords is height (Ubbe is a giant).(As an aside, I wish there was some variation in stats, at least making the more significant lords a little higher level and more skilled in appropriate ways, like in Pendor. Lord equipment could use a lot of work as well, they are currently using gear worse than many of their soldiers.).Rather confused about why height would make this kind of difference in AI performan.

So I've been thinking a lot about how much I like M&B's camera and general movement scheme and how I don't see it used in a lot of games. In the typical 3rd person game, like the Witcher, Dark Souls or Assassin's Creed, your character always turns to face the direction of movement. Press A and you turn and run to the left. Press S and you turn and run toward the camera. In M&B (plus Skyrim and Fallout) the controls are sort of like a hybrid of 1st/3rd person, where you always face forward but can strafe and backstep. You move like you do in a 1st person game, but the camera's pulled back to look over your shoulder.Personally, I think the M&B's hybrid style is far superior for melee style games because it lets you maneuver around enemies while keeping them in front of you. I can't stand how in the Witcher or Dark Souls, if I want to back up to make a little space between me and my enemy, it makes me turn my back to him and run toward the camera.
