Tamiya Smoke Window Tint
Not a great solution for tinted windowsI ordered the Tamiya PS-31 Smoke Spray Paint. From what I had read this was the answer for tinting windows on model cars. It didn't work to my expectations. Maybe I didn't do it right. Maybe I wasn't expecting what I should have. I expected it to tint the windows in the same way that the cap on the paint can is tinted, in the same manner as clear colored cellophane, making them darker but totally transparent. Instead it is like a paint dusting that fogs the windows, obscuring the interior, making it difficult to impossible to see through it to the passenger cabin of the model.
